Unboxing Part 2
The build quality leaves no room for criticism. All components are extremely solid and the many details underline the high-quality overall impression.
A closer look at the fabric. The TANK logo has been embroidered on the front of the seat. There are no threads or missing parts anywhere.
The solid base has a diameter of 80 cm.
The ends are fitted with interchangeable caps and give the cross an angular look.
Here, too, there is no doubt that the XXL chair has saved on materials somewhere.
Overview of the other components:
The wheels are large and solid, but don’t come in a “fancy aluminum wheel” look like we’ve seen recently with Corsair or Vertagear.
Operating instructions, care instructions and the enclosed tool for assembly:
Magnetic covers to hide the screw connections (backrest) seem to be catching on.
At first glance, the rocker mechanism appears very simple and will later prove to be a point of criticism.
Nevertheless, this important component is also extremely solid.
The class 4 gas strut manufactured by TSR is the fattest I have ever seen.
The diameter is a whopping 7cm!
And with this firecracker, we’re already through with the unboxing.
