Processing and mobility
The AG326UD comes with the same advantages and disadvantages as all other QD OLEDs on the market. The panel can lose its perceptible contrast when exposed to direct light, and the panel is also reflective. You have to be careful where you place the monitor. In terms of workmanship, there is nothing really to criticize except for one point. The fact that you have to screw the panel to the stand – with two screws – doesn’t really make sense to me. It was a fiddle to set up the monitor! All manufacturers use a click mechanism here. So dear developers at AOC – there’s a better way.
On the other hand, the AG326UD offers full flexibility in terms of ergonomics: height adjustment, swivel, tilt and pivot (portrait format) are all possible. Wall mounting or a VESA arm is also possible (adapter is included). I have not been able to hear any fan noise so far, so I assume that the panel is passively cooled. Nevertheless, I have asked AOC (TPV same OEM as Philips). Update will follow in the forum!
Connectors, cables and accessories
What the AG326UD does not offer? USB-C with DP Alt Mode in conjunction with a KVM switch. Instead, there are 2x HDMI 2.1, 1x DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC, USB-B upstream, 3x USB-A and 3.5 mm jack for audio. If you want, you can also use the built-in speakers.
The scope of delivery includes a DisplayPort and an HDMI as well as a USB-B to USB-A cable and the power cable for the internal power supply unit. There are also screws, a VESA adapter, a small screwdriver and the usual paperwork.
OSD
The OSD is controlled using joysticks on the rear right, the OSD responds really quickly and is intuitively designed. There are lots of settings in the OSD: White point, gamma, various presets, gaming stuff like shadow boost etc. and of course lots of OLED care features.
Speaking of OLED care, AOC offers a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty – including burn-in. Almost all manufacturers now do this.
Software
AOC offers the option of controlling the OSD via software instead of the joystick. You can download the software free of charge from the homepage: Click here!

With the G-Menu software you can also control other AOC products and e.g. synchronize the RGB lighting. Enough with the theoretical talk, now it’s time to measure.
