Summary
The AOC AGON Pro AG326UD is a 32-inch gaming monitor that impresses with a 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) and a fast refresh rate of 165 Hz. This monitor is particularly aimed at gamers who demand high image quality and performance. It uses a QD-OLED panel from Samsung, which offers vivid colors, extreme contrast and wide viewing angles. It also supports AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync via Adaptive-Sync for a smooth, stutter-free display with compatible graphics cards.
The AG326UD offers impressive HDR capability – thanks to the individually controllable pixels that enable an intense, detailed image with high contrast. With a response time of 0.1 ms and low latency, a fast and precise display is guaranteed even with fast movements, which is particularly advantageous for action games.
The monitor’s design is modern and ergonomic, with a height-adjustable, swivel, tilt and pivot stand option that allows for customization. Overall, the AOC AGON Pro AG326UD is a powerful monitor for ambitious gamers who value high image quality, fast response times and an appealing design.
Conclusion
Unfortunately, the AG326UD is not without its teething troubles in today’s test. The promised factory calibration is not achieved – at least in my sample. There is also room for improvement in terms of HDR accuracy. The locked sRGB mode with regard to white point control is also no longer up to date. This detracts a little from the otherwise good overall impression. Now it’s up to the price, because the competition has become really tough.
The AG326UD is currently available for as little as 790 euros, making it the cheapest UHD OLED on the market. At least that’s what my research has shown. According to Geizhals, it is around 100 euros cheaper than the Dell Alienware AW3225QF. Compared to the rest of the 32-inch OLED competitors, there is already a “price advantage” of more than 200 euros (in some cases over 300 euros). In other words, if you don’t need a KVM switch and aren’t dependent on a color accuracy of DeltaE < 2 – ex works, you should add the AOC AGON Pro AG326UD to your wish list.
The monitor was provided to me by AOC without obligation – for testing purposes. There was no influence on the tests and results. There was also no compensation for expenses and no obligation to publish by AOC or anyone else.
