In the past, there have already been various announcements about DDR5 RAM and manufacturers have always loudly emphasized the impressive speeds of these modules and that they plan to produce ever faster modules in the future. The previous top model reached up to 10,000 MT/s. Now, however, ASUS and G.Skill have set a new world record and developed the fastest DDR5 memory currently available.

Just a few days ago, the company G.Skill introduced its new Trident Z5 CK series with overclocked DDR5 CU-DIMM with clock driver to the market, which are said to achieve amazing speeds. Meanwhile, the company comes up with another news that is said to go beyond the scope of DDR5 memories. Together, the two companies have produced a DDR5 memory that is said to significantly outperform previous models. The new memory achieves an overclocking speed of up to 6055.9 MHz, which corresponds to 12,112 MT/s with the timings 52-92-92-127-2. This world record was achieved by the well-known overclocker Safedisk, which had already worked together with these two companies on several occasions. The setup used was the G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 memory, the ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Apex motherboard and an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with an extreme LN2 cooling system to achieve this high performance.
This is a major milestone for G.Skill and ASUS and, as the company G.Skill mentions, it should once again underline the strong market position of the overclocking hardware.
This overclocking world record shows that G.SKILL and ASUS ROG are at the forefront of overclocking hardware, and both companies look forward to supporting the overclocking community with world-class performance solutions with the latest hardware and platform.
The record has also been submitted to HWBOT and CPU-Z for validation and the user safedisk is now ranked #1 worldwide.
