Unboxing, product pictures and scope of delivery
The packaging is attractively designed and shows the modular connection panel of the power supply unit on the front. Inside, the product is adequately protected as it is completely surrounded by foam.
The external design stands out clearly from conventional power supplies thanks to the laterally offset connection panel, the perforated fan grille and the striking exhaust side. On the rear, where the modular connection panel is normally located on “classic” power supply units, there are instead the connections for iCUE RS-485, Type-C and the tachometer output.
The modular connection panel has a total of eleven sockets, including a native 12V 2×6 connection.
In tabular form, it reads like this:
| Modular Cables | ||||

iCUE software
The iCUE software from Corsair must be used to communicate with the power supply unit. This application has been significantly improved over time, even if there is still some potential for optimization. ICUE can be used to monitor the performance parameters, switch between a single and multiple 12 V rails and create individual fan curves.
