More and more exciting CoreXY printers are coming onto the market and competing with the top dogs, today we’re looking at a really promising candidate for my new budget recommendation. I deliberately gave myself a little more time to take as many print jobs as possible from my everyday life, and there is a lot to report.
Packaging and scope of delivery
The printer is delivered in this brown box, ideally in one piece, and I’ll come back to this little aside at the very end.
To be on the safe side, I would definitely follow this advice, even if the box then stands around somewhere for a month.
The 3D printer is protected all around in the box with plenty of foam cut-outs.
One layer deeper, a large plastic bag ensures that even a package delivered in the rain does not contain any unpleasant surprises.
All the foam blocks inside are simply removed from the top.
And if you want, you can also remove the film from the inside of the windshield.
Inside we also find the box with the accessories, which I have laid out for you:
In addition to the add-on parts, the box contains some PLA, grease, glue stick, tools, a USB stick with software, a spare part for cleaning the nozzle and a blade for the printable scraper.
And as usual, here is an overview of the technical details, on the left the enclosed “Carbon” version and on the right the open Elegoo Centauri. Further information can be found on the manufacturer’s product page.
