In the past year, there have always been “slimmed-down” versions of 3D printers that the manufacturer has brought onto the market with a few fewer functions, but at a lower price. Bambu Lab has the P1P, Creality the K1 SE and today we take a look at Flashforge’s offering. With a discounted version of the 5M Pro, they want to concentrate on the most important core features and thus offer a CoreXY printer for little money.
Packaging and scope of delivery
The printer arrived in this box with slight external damage, but otherwise in quite good condition. Quite compact and easy to carry thanks to the two grip holes on the left and right, the letter carrier is happy.
A look inside reveals a whole lot of foam and a Quick Start Guide.
This protects the Adventurer 5M from damage during transportation. In my opinion, the two blocks consisting of several individual parts are sufficiently thick and should provide good protection against knocks.
There are also plenty of foam blocks one layer deeper, as nothing should be able to move freely on the way to us.
The brown cardboard box also contains the accessories, which include 50 grams of filament, some tools, pliers, liquid glue and grease in addition to a few add-on parts.
