The Corsair HXi Shift series will exist in parallel with the HXi series. The main difference is the side-mounted modular connection panel, which is made possible by a different internal platform and allows the connection panel to be “shifted”. There’s also plenty of iCUE, but we’ll get to that in a moment.
Reason enough for me to once again let my friend Aris from Hardwarebusters have his say (and picture) on this on our site, as he has not only tested this power supply intensively, but has also officially certified it through his company Cybenetics. As it will certainly be of interest to you, I am happy to offer him the platform to share his findings with you here on a case-by-case basis. The Corsair HX1000i Shift is (or will be) included in my article on the best ATX v3.x and PCIe 5.x power supplies. This is also the first time I’ve made extensive use of the reviewer’s guide provided, and Corsair explains everything very clearly in it. However, there is one crucial point that is not emphasized there: The HXi-Shift models do not have a -12V rail. This was a relic from the past, offered no benefit and reduced efficiency. Omitting it is therefore a sensible decision.

Prices and availability
Here are the currently available retail prices in Germany and selected EU stores, as of 04.11.2025, Europe/Berlin. Prices are in euros, usually including VAT, availability depends on the retailer. Idealo and Geizhals each list several retailers, the cheapest prices are to be understood as ex-price and experience shows that they change over the course of the day, which is why the information is a snapshot. The Corsair store prices are list prices for the EU store and are suitable as a reference; according to the store, they include free shipping, but the actual delivery time depends on stock levels. Marketplace listings, such as PcComponentes, may include other sellers and shipping terms, which will affect the final cost.
