Today I’m writing a report that seems a little unusual for IgorsLab. Apple or Macs are rarely found in our range and an external hard disk dock doesn’t really arouse my interest. However, I was looking for such a solution myself and at the same time I received an offer for the matching mini PC, so I accepted. So let’s take a look at this “mini tower” together and put it to a different use.
Packaging and scope of delivery
I can’t imagine with the best will in the world that you will be transporting your dock frequently, but Orico has attached a small carrying bag to the box.
Once again, the front and back of the box feature a classic product image, while a table on the narrow side reveals some information about the contents.

If you do need to transport the dock with built-in data carriers in the packaging, a thick layer of foam inside provides plenty of protection against knocks.

The white box contains the accessories, which include a 60 watt TY1200500Z1mn power supply unit, two USB cables in different lengths and a small screwdriver. A passive M.2 heat sink with thermal pad and some screws are also included.
Specifications
As usual, here are the key data, further information can be found on the manufacturer’s product page.
